How to Use It?
Chyawanprash can be spread on wholesome breads or crackers, added to smoothies, or as a healthy snack just eaten right out of the jar with a spoon! Traditionally in India, it is stirred into a warm glass of milk. It is naturally sweet, using mineral rich gur (organic cane juice that has been slowly reduced to a thick syrup, somewhat like maple syrup) and organic honey, and has that authentic taste of the spices of India. Goes great with a cup of Tulsi: Tulsi Original, Tulsi Chai Masala and Tulsi Red Chai.

The History of Chyawanprash
The sage Chyawan is believed to have discovered the formula in the 4th century B.C. According to the principal Ayurvedic text Charaka Samhita (ca. 100 A.D.), Chyawanprash "nourishes the weak, the wounded, the old, and those that are of tender years as well." Using Chyawanprash, “a person acquires intelligence, memory, comeliness of body… longevity, strength of the senses, great pleasure in the companionship with women, great increase in the strength of the digestive fire, improvement of the complexion, and the restoration of wind to its normal course."
